तृणादपि सुनीचत्वं मन्यमानाः सदाssत्मनः |
गूढा वसन्ति लोकेस्मिन् लज्जया साधुसत्तमाः ||
अजानद्भिर्लोकजनैः कृतं परिभवं मुदा ||
अङ्गीकुर्वन्ति सुजनास्तथेति विमलाशयाः ||
The true sadhus take themselves to be more insignificant than a blade of grass. They lead a very humble life on this earth hiding their glory. Those pious-minded sadhus accept happily even the disgrace to them by the ordinary people of the world due to their ignorance.
