श्रीसद्गुरुरुवाच
अथ सप्तमभागस्य कथासङ्ग्रह उच्यते |
यस्मिन् श्रीवल्लभादीनां चरित्रमुपवर्णितम् ||
प्रथमे वल्लभाचार्यजननं परिकीर्त्यते |
यस्य श्रवणमात्रेण कृष्णभक्तिः प्रजायते ||
द्वितीये वल्लभाचार्यः पाण्डुरङ्गनिदेशतः |
गार्हस्थ्यमाश्रमं प्राप्य बृन्दावनमुपाययौ ||
तृतीये विट्ठलेशस्तु श्रीकृष्णविरहातुरः |
इतस्ततक्ष्चरन्नन्ते विवेश गिरिगह्वरम् ||

In this chapter the contents of Book VII which deals with the life stories of the great men like Shri Vallabha, are given in a nutshell. The description of the birth of Shri Vallabha which generates Krishna Bhakti is given in Chapter One. The second Chapter narrates the story of Shri Vallabhacharya who reached Shri Brindavan adopting the life of a householder as per the command of Shri Panduranga. The Third Chapter explains how Shri Vitthalanatha roamed about here and there stricken with the grief born of separation from Shri Krishna and how he finally got salvation in a cave in Govardhana Hill.
