श्रीसद्गुरुरुवाच

डाकूरिति पुरे कक्ष्चिदब्राह्मणो वैष्णवोत्तमः |

आसीद्भक्तजनश्रेष्ठो रामदास इति श्रुतः ||

दान्तः शान्तो दयावांक्ष्च धर्मानुष्ठानतत्परः |

विनीतो वेदविच्चैवं गृहस्थो जरठो महान् ||

स मुहुर्द्वाकामेत्य भार्यया सह सादरम् |

गोमतीसङ्गमे स्नात्वा कुरुते कृष्णदर्शनम् ||

Shri Sadguru said

There was a brahmana named Ramadasa in the village Dakoor. He was a bhakta and a vaishnavottama. He was a householder endowed with qualities like humility and compassion. He had subdued his mind and all senses and strictly adhered to dharma. The old man knowing all Vedas, used to visit Dwaraka often along with his wife. Having a holy dip in the confluence of river Gomati with the sea, he used to have the darshan of Lord Krishna
