मृतानापि बहून् मर्त्यान् योगशत्यैव जीवयन् |
अवाप् महतीं कीर्तिं शार्ङ्गदेवो धरातले ||
तस्मात्तस्य मठे हन्त प्रातः प्रातर्दिने दिने |
यच्छन्ति योगिने तस्मै मृतानादाय बान्धवाः ||
Sharngadeva had earned very good popularity and fame as he could bring back to life the dead ones, using his yogic powers. Hence, every morning, the relatives of the dead ones used to carry the dead bodies to his math and hand over them to him.
