Shri Tukaram Charitam I Vol III Book VIII Chp 8 Shlokas 6 - 8

वीणामादाय हस्तेन कीर्तयन् मधुसूदनम् |

वीथ्यां वीथ्यां नृत्यति स्म पदशिञ्चितनूपुरः ||

आनन्दबाष्पनयनः पुलकाञ्चितविग्रहः |

गायन् विट्ठलनामानि न सस्मार जगत्त्रयम् ||

लौकिकं वैदिकं कर्म न करोति यथाविधि |

सर्वदा विट्ठलं ध्यायन् चरत्युन्मादचेष्टितः ||

He was dancing on the streets of Pandaripuram, with the tinkling anklets on His legs and singing in praise of Lord Madhusoodana with the Veena in his hands. He was oblivious of all the three worlds, always singing melodiously the Divine Names of Lord Vitthala and shedding tears of joy, with all excitement. He did not know to carry on the earthly duties and Vedic rites, He was roaming about like a mad man, always deep in Vitthala dhyana.
