एवं शिवाजिराजस्य हरिकीर्तनकौतुकम् |
विलोक्य साधवः सर्वे संप्रापुर्विस्मयं परम् ||
निरायुधं नृपं तत्र हरिकीर्तनतत्परम् |
ज्ञात्वा चारमुखेनैव म्लेच्छराजः समाययौ ||
तं बद्धुकामो राजानं यवनेन्द्रो महाबलः |
महत्या सेनया साकमाजगाम यदृच्छया ||
तच्छ्रुत्वा शिवराजस्तु धीरोऽपि भृशमाकुलः |
तुकाराममुपागत्य दीनदीनमुवाच ह ||
All the sadhus were surprised to see this enthusiasm and interest of king Shivaji in Hari kirtan. The muslim king (enemy of Shivaji) came there getting information through his spies that Shivaji was unarmed and was engaged in Hari bhajan. That mighty muslim king came there unexpectedly with a large army to capture Shivaji. Hearing this, the courageous Shivaji was frightened. He came to Tukaram in all humility.
